Lost Iceland Bonus Card
Since it is a Savings storage card, losing your Bonus Card can be like losing the actual money. If you have lost your Iceland Bonus Card or it has been stolen, then you need to contact Iceland quickly. They cannot disable your card to block anybody from using it until you tell them that it is missing. Your activity only updates in your online Iceland account every 48 hours, so you might not notice that someone is using your card and spending your Savings until it is too late. This is why it is so important for you to get in touch with Iceland immediately when you lose your Bonus Card. They will cancel the card as soon as you notify them and send a replacement card and key fob to your home.

You will need to tell them your card number. If you do not have this information, then they should still be able to find your account using other details instead. You will need to provide details such as your name, address, and phone number anyway to confirm your identity as the cardholder. They will confirm the cancellation of your current card and key fob. You can expect to receive the replacements with a new number and your transferred balance in the mail within 28 days. When the new card and key fob arrive, you will have to contact Iceland to activate them. You can then resume use.

Iceland will only transfer the latest recorded balance from your old Bonus Card onto a new one. They will not take responsibility for unauthorized spending. This means that, unfortunately, you will not be able to recover any Savings you lose before notifying Iceland. You should always be very careful with your Bonus Card and treat it as you would actual money. Taking action as soon as possible when you realize that it is gone will minimize the financial loss if a thief tries to use your Savings. If you have lost Bonus Card vouchers, you can ask Iceland if they will replace these.
