There are three repayment options you can choose from for a loan with Wage Day Advance: if you borrow over 1 month you will only make one repayment that will include the whole loan amount plus interest. The daily interest charge is 0.8% on the amount borrowed. If you borrow your loan over 2 or 3 months your initial repayment(s) will only be interest and then your final payment will include the original loan amount plus on months interest. When you borrow for longer than 2 or 3 months then you will be encouraged by the company to make overpayments or pay your loan back early which will reduce the final payment amount – and could also reduce the interest that you will have to pay.

There is a minimum loan term of 21 days, however, if your next pay date is in less than 21 days time from the date you took your loan then your first repayment will be made on the following pay date. Late repayment of your loan will result in a one-off late repayment charge of £15 as well as the daily interest charge. There aren’t any other fees with a Wage Day Advance loan and the late repayment charge will only be charged once.

When applying for an Advance Plus loan it is best to keep in mind that there is a 0.79% daily interest charge on the original loan amount, with no hidden charges or late fees which will give you peace of mid when paying your loan back. When you have your Advance Plus loan you can begin your repayments for your loans for over 4 months, over 5 months or over 6 months. All of these repayments involve monthly instalments that include part of the loan and the month’s interest. With an Advance Plus loan you also have the opportunity to make overpayments at any time (which will save you money on daily interest) and you can also manage any missed payments by catching up in part of in full using your debit card by logging into your account with Wage Day Advance.

After 2nd January 2015, Flex Advance loans were no longer available to new and existing customers at Wage Day Advance as they weren’t subject to the current Financial Conduct Authority interest cap and ended up being a higher cost than a loan taken out after the 2nd January 2015. Anyone with these loans would be charged daily interest of 97p per day per £100 borrowed, whereas the new rules introduced by the Financial Conduct Authority state that the cost of loands taken out after 2nd January 2015 cannot exceed 80p per day, per £100 borrowed. Also, the new rules limit the total payment of a loan to twice the original loan amount. If you currently have a Flex Advance loan with Wage Day Advance then it is strongly advised that you pay back this loan at the earliest opportunity.
