United Utilities Customer Services

If you need to report no water in your home, poor pressure, discolouration of your water, a blocked drain or if you would like to enquire about a member of staff, call 0843 557 3710. If you do not wish to know about these services, hold the line and you will be given the option to choose other services.  These include details about card payments over the phone, moving home, or bill enquiries.

Head Office

To speak to a member of the head office team, call 0844 453 0169. This number is a direct line, and will connect you to someone who can help you further. If you’re looking to call this line in order to make a complaint, you will need to call the dedicated complaints line, which can be found in the table at the top of this page.

Careers

Looking for a job in United Utilities? Calling 0843 816 6829 will put you through to a member of the careers and HR team, who can progress an application, let you know about job opportunities, or offer some help and advice about applying to a job with United Utlilities. You can also use this line to enquire about apprenticeships, graduate jobs and more.

Account Services

To pay a bill, manage your account online, enquire about moving home and transferring your services, or to tell the team about current incidents or water problems in your home and area, call the account services team on 0843 816 6831. This line will put you through to an automated line, form which you will be able to select the services available to you.

Marketing

Have marketing enquiries? Contact the media and marketing services team on 0844 453 0214. This line is a direct line and is only recommended for use by members of staff, or from media outlets who wish to speak with a member of the marketing about current issues, such as hosepipe bans or water leaks.

Complaints

To make a complaint, or to speak with a member of staff about leaks in your area, call the dedicated complaints line on 0843 816 6832. This line can also be used to complain about issues on your account, issues with leaks, lack of water supply, discoloured water or illness you have suffered which you believe to be influenced by your water supply.
