As The Courier Company is a goods transport company their carbon footprint is expected to be large, The Courier Company value the environment and have taken part in multiple projects to neutralise their carbon emissions and increase their efficiency. In 2007 they reached 100% carbon neutrality and in 2010 they achieved the PAS2060 accreditation (the first in the world to achieve this) they have now continued working towards offsetting their carbon footprint. To do so they have improved their recycling procedures, planting trees in the UK and Kenya, they have solar panels fitted on the head office roof and they plan to apply for the accreditation of BSI/ISO 500051 and want to become the first courier service to achieve this new accreditation.
