Argos have a few delivery options that you can choose from. They deliver 7 days a week between 7 am to 10 pm to mainland UK and Northern Ireland. Argos offer same day delivery called fast track delivery which means if you order before 6 pm you can have the item delivered by 10 pm. You can also collect items instore, just choose which store you would like to pick it up from when at the online checkout. Large items that require 2 men deliveries – next day £14.95, next day with time slot £24.99, standard delivery £6.95, standard delivery with timeslot £12.95.

Large kitchen appliance delivery – standard delivery is free, next day £8.95, next day with time slot £24.99, standard delivery with timeslot £12.95.

Small items – fast-track delivery £3.95, standard delivery £3.95, Royal Mail delivery is free.

Argos offer a 30 day returns guarantee, to return a product you can take it back to a store, arrange a free pick up from Argos (they will refund the original delivery charge), if the item is small you can return it in store and receive an immediate refund (with a 5-7 day processing wait). You will need to bring proof of purchase and if you bought it with a credit or debit card you will need to bring that with you otherwise they will offer you an exchange. The items should be unused in its original packaging and be in a condition that they can resell the item. Any free items should also be unused and in re-sellable condition. Please be aware that some items such as food are not eligible for returns unless they’re faulty and Argos reserve the right to reduce the refund amount due to the item or packaging being excessively handled. You may need to provide the serial number.

I spoke to an advisor yesterday because I received a letter saying I owed £7 overdue I was surprised as I had phoned in Feb when same thing happened and was told don’t worry would be reinstated and would have no further problems. However yesterday I was told the direct debit had not been set up in fact and now I would be charged an additional penalty and show as a late payment! The person I spoke to was very matter of fact and said nothing would be done to help me. I am obviously not happy because my original direct debit was cancelled I was not informed and then why was it not set up again when I phoned in Feb? It appears that your whole payment system is geared to catch out customers and generate late charges as even if you have a direct debit set up certain payment options will not automatically be taken either! I just feel really unfairly treated by yourselves and am seriously considering cancelling my account.

My experience of ordering from your website with my Argos Card today has been appalling, and passed from pillar to post on the various Argos telephone numbers with no resolution. I ordered 1 item online, it didn’t go through (i.e. no confirmation on website or via e-mail), tried again, then again, and on phoning (which part of Argos was it???) was told that I now have three of the same item for delivery! Trying to get two of them struck off my account has proved impossible so I’ve given up. I can now only wait for them to arrive tomorrow night and not sign for them (presumably, if I sign for the 1 I ordered, it’ll go down as having signed for all 3 as it’ll be a single order number and I’ll get charged for all?).

I have a different question since when argos care is renewed without asking me first ?? I don not even own the item anymore!!!
